Fall is officially here, and San Francisco shops are appropriately abuzz with ways to get you suited up for the season. First up is Azalea—owner Catherine Chow, who also owns Welcome Stranger and Rand + Statler, has expanded her Hayes Valley mini empire to the Mission with a brand new Azalea store at 956 Valencia Street. Look for brands including Alexander Wang, Comme Des Garçons, Naked and Famous, and Obey. Also check out the shop's revamped website to snag new arrivals and sale items from the comfort of your couch.

SF's eco-chic clothing brand, Amour Vert,which opened a Hayes Valley store earlier this year,is throwing open the doors of its Dogpatch warehouse for a sample sale this Thursday, September 25, through until Saturday, September 27. Can’t-miss deals will start and just $5—the most any item will be marked is $60. The sale starts both days at 12 pm and goes until 7 pm at 1285 Indiana Street. 

Two Birds opened in Noe Valley in 2011, and women in the neighborhood flocked. Starting this weekend, there will be even more reason to migrate over to 1309 Castro Street: The store is launching a shoe lounge! Look for local favorites Freda Salvador as well as Vince, Joie, Dolce Vita and Splendid. Plus, if you buy a pair of shoes Friday, Saturday or Sunday, you'll get 15% off clothing and accessories to complete your outfit. 

A stroll down Divisadero Street between Haight and Ellis will be more colorful than ever on Thursday evening. It's time for the Fall Divisadero Art Walk, and stores will keep their doors open late to celebrate art with music, food, and drinks. Big Umbrella Studios will feature "Elements," a group exhibition of paintings, as well as a pop-up from Road Twenty Two, a high-end T-shirt brand that employs women who are formerly incarcerated, homeless, or suffering from substance abuse. Also look for a new line of solid fragrances from Mikmoi. At Rare Device you'll find #Summer, a group photography exhibit, and pie! Stephanie from Sugarfoot Grits will be selling her delicious treats alongside the shop's unique gifts and accessories. More than a dozen other stores will also participate, including Bi-Rite, MaduSalon, San Francisco Skate Club, and San Franpsycho. 

If you're more interested in walking a red carpet than a sidewalk,Carmen Marc Valvo is bringing his spring 25th anniversary fashion show to San Francisco on Wednesday, October 1. He'll showcase 25 iconic celebrity gowns in a runway show at the Fairmont hotel, which will benefit the Arthritis Foundation. Tickets cost between $250 and $1,200—to purchase, call Erin Badillo at the Arthritis Foundation at 415-356-5484. 

Move Loot, which buys and sells quality second-hand furnishings and decor, has taken up residence at the former Reliquary space at 537 Octavia. But the pop up will only be there through December, so if you're on the hunt for that perfect piece for the perfect price, head over to Hayes Valley, STAT. 

California's snowy Sierra Nevada mountains were the inspiration for Heath Ceramics' winter collecition. Look for the beautiful indigo hues, plus moody blacks and lighter blues of this winter-themed collection at its 18th Street factory and showroom, or at any of Heath's other Bay Area locations starting on October 1.
