Husband-and-wife-to-be Meredith and Ken are urban people, so they knew pretty quickly that they wanted to get married in The City, surrounded by all the noise, chaos and the people–and The Argonaut Hotel fit the bill perfectly.
Planning a wedding at the hotel guarantees smooth sailing, because it minimizes the number of vendors you have to hire. The Argonaut has pretty much everything you need already onsite, and their wedding-savvy staff is incredibly supportive–not to mention its innate, old-school charm as a former cannery from a bygone San Francisco era.
For Meredith and Ken's ultra-picturesque wedding, family and friends pitched in on creating the special day. Ken's sister was ordained in order to marry the couple, and constructed the most personal and special interfaith wedding ceremony. Two of the bride and groom's theater friends from New York serenaded guests at the ceremony. Meredith's aunt, an amazing gardener, rounded up a bunch of family to help her with all the flowers. And many of the vendors were friends of friends. Thanks to family, friends, and The Argonaut Hotel, Meredith and Ken felt so supported as they took this very special next step with each other.
