Shawn Nohr & Tyler Brooks wanted to celebrate their special day in memory of loved ones who had passed away. The couple chose to say their vows at the Contra Country Club where a tree was planted in honor of Tyler's late grandfather. The couple made sure to take plenty of photos in front of that tree following a lovely ceremony that looked out over the golf course. There was also a gin and tonic bar at the reception for family and friends to sip in Tyler's grandfather's memory.
Cards were placed at each reception table with the inscription, "On this day we wish to remember the loved ones that could not be here to join us in our happiness. To honor their memory we have made donations in our guests' names to the following worthy causes: Cystic Fibrosis Research, Skin Cancer Foundation, Suicide Prevention and National Kidney Foundation." This beautiful dedication was made in memory of Kristi Burnham, Bob Van Hosen, and Richard Brooks.
Beautiful hues of purple and green complemented the clear blue skies above throughout the day. Handwritten place cards added a nice personal touch to the sophisticated reception.
