El Capitan Announces Full Bar + Caribbean Inspired Cocktails
Newly-obtained liquor license in hand, SoMa eatery El Capitan is ready to party. Beverage director Ashley Plasterer and bar manager Teyler Wallace are debuting a brand new cocktail list this week to compliment the fresh Latin and Caribbean style menu that never disappoints. El Capitan's cocktails will feature a combination of both traditional and unexpected ingredients featuring in-house syrup paired with rum, tequila, cachaça, mezcal, and other Latin and Caribbean liquors. // El Capitan is open Tuesday-Thursday 5-10pm and Fridays & Saturdays 5-11pm; 1123 Folsom Street; elcapsf.com
Classic Japanese restaurant Pabu will be taking over Forgery Bar for a night of delicious cuisine and one-of-a-kind cocktails. Pabu will offer a special food and cocktail menu for the night, while Pabu bartenders man the bar. We're kind of obsessed with their Yakuza 3.0, a cocktail combination of akashi white oak blended, benedictine, chamomile. Try it for yourself of Monday. // Monday, Nov. 9th; Forgery Bar (1525 Mission St.); facebook.com/pabutakeover
