How to shop, fight AIDS, and eat ice cream, all with a drink in your hand.
Coffee and Ice Cream in a Surf Shop
The Inner Sunset just got a little cooler. Local clothing company San Franpsycho has opened a miniature coffee and ice cream bar inside their Inner Sunset shop. After two years of planning, Sundays is now open, serving Four Barrel Cold Brew, De La Paz Coffee, Three Twins Ice Cream, and treats from neighboring Devil's Teeth Baking Company.
Check out the all-day grand opening party this Saturday, June 13 from noon- 6 p.m., with beer, live music and more. The coffee bar is open Monday-Wednesday from 8 a.m.-8 p.m., Thursday-Saturday from 8 a.m.-9 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m.-7 p.m.
Support Project (RED) with Off the Grid
Off the Grid is at it again: this time partnering with Project (RED) as part of their Eat (RED) Drink (RED) Save Lives! campaign to bring the culinary world together to fight AIDS. Here's how it works: Bank of America will donate $.40 every time a customer uses their Bank of America debit or credit card at participating food trucks (marked with a (RED) decal), with an expected donation of up to $250,000. Support Project (RED) at Off the Grid: Lake Merritt @ OMCA Friday, June 12 by dining with participating vendors and Picnic @ the Presidio Sunday, June 14. Who knew that steamed bun could save lives?
Dirty Water Makes its Debut
Dirty Water is making its debut in the lobby level of the new Twitter headquarters this month, and we couldn't be more excited. Behind the restaurant’s 50 foot limestone topped bar patrons can peruse over 52 beers on tap, 100 wines by the glass, and an expansive selection of rare spirits. The ambitious bar-restaurant concept is opening alongside an organic market, coffee and wine bars, and retail shops in what's bound to be the new hot spot on Market Street.
