Katherine met Richard when she least expected it. She was studying for an art history exam in college when he approached her on the quad. After a marathon first date, the rest was history, and the couple found themselves relocating to San Francisco. They were engaged during an afternoon picnic while on vacation in Provence. Born and raised in Kentucky, the couple wanted to incorporate both their Southern roots, and their recent trip to France into the wedding. Always a fan of the quirky, the couple's theme was "France meets Kentucky in San Francisco." After a beautiful ceremony, the couple embarked on their honeymoon to Greystoke Mahale, a safari camp in Tanzania.
