Marilyn Monroe Fans Recreate Iconic Wedding

Hardcore Marilyn Monroe fans Erika and Robbie finally scratched their "Seven Year Itch" at San Francisco City Hall, the place where America's greatest sweetheart married Joe DiMaggio exactly 60 years before.

Longtime lovers of old Hollywood glamour, the bride and groom got engaged on Norma Jean's birthday (June 1) in the very room where the original blonde bombshell acquired her signature look in the old Max Factor Makeup Building (now the Hollywood museum).

The bride transformed herself into a dazzling doppelganger of Marilyn with unbelievable makeup artistry and a cheeky corset. Her earrings, a birthday gift from Robbie with a certificate of authenticity, were once worn by Miss Monroe herself. Meanwhile, the groom looked every bit of a rockabilly Clark Kent when he revealed his Superman shirt beneath his Tom Ford duds.

After the nuptials, friends and family feasted upon a big Italian dinner and sipped "Some Like It Hot" chocolate the bride made herself with cinnamon and cayenne peppers. These weren't the only DIY goodies–Erika also fashioned an amazing bouquet out of old brooches and customized her Pin Up Girl Clothing wedding dress with a mermaid tulle hem to create that classic siren sillhouette.
