Although it's lights off at lala today (which we're bemoaning over here at 7x7 HQ), June 1st also brings some good music news in the form of the final Outside Lands lineup. Ranger Dave continues his love affair with videos by announcing the entire Aug 14-15 lineup in video format. For those without the patience to watch the whole montage, here's the lineup in list form.
Our initial reaction? Some wins (My Morning Jacket, The Strokes, Gogol Bordello, the theatrics of Janelle Monáe) mixed in with a heavy dose of mrehs. What would you give the Outside Lands lineup? We're going with a B-, or maybe a B cause we love us some Al Green. Oh, and Edward Sharpe is coming back. Again.
