Texan rocker Roky (pronouned "Rocky") Erickson sounded off at Noise Pop last Thursday with his band, The Explosives, to a full house at the Great American Music Hall. Back in the '60s, Roky and his then-band the 13th Floor Elevators played at SF's Fillmore and Avalon Ballrooms. He's the subject of a documentary, You're Gonna Miss Me, named after the first hit recorded by Roky and his Elevators band.
