We knew we were on to something when we elected The Rumble the "Best Place to Hang with the Tastemakers" in SF in our Best Of issue. The monthly indie dance party at Harlot—created by local music zine publisher Jason Jurgens (The Owl Mag) and music-industry golden ear Larry Little (Future Sounds)—celebrates it's one year anniversary Wednesday, October 1. It's their first on the first. Resident DJ BAGeL Ted of BAGeL Radio will be joined by DJ Aaron Axelsen (Live 105 and Popscene) on the decks and 2 AM Club will perform an intimate live set. The Mill Valley-native band, now transplanted in Hollywood, brings their party vibe back to the Bay Area. As usual, the party kicks off with an hour of free Red Bull vodka and there are giveaways from TankFarm Clothing and Vestalife to keep you smiling.
RSVP for free entry at SonicLiving or pay $5 at the door for all this wholesome fun.
