Nearly a year old now, the Oakland Surf Club continues to wow us with their perfectly curated selection of feel-good clothing, artwork, magazines and more.
Husband-wife team, Max Klineman and Ariana Serrano-Embree started the based on their love for Oakland and for the surf/skate lifestyle. Though small in size, the Chinatown space packs in over men's and women's clothing 50 labels, all made in the America.
The vibe is definitely surfer chill, but don't let the quaintness fool you -- O.S.C. knows how to party. Their upper level gallery/event space draws crowds with everything from free concerts to rotating First Fridays (next week!) art shows.
Oakland Surf Club (337 14th St., Oakland), open Mon.-Sat. 11am-7pm, closed on Sundays.
