We review the best beauty box subscriptions in the nation to let you know who hands out the chicest samples.
How it works: 3 new, full-size nail polish colors (perfectly paired together as part of a seasonal collection) arrive monthly for $14.99. You'll never get the same color twice, plus, the signature hues are gorgeous and slide on smooth.
Stand-out moment: My fall collection came with rich reds and golds with a trendy metallic sheen. Plus, my nails were dry within 15 minutes and ready to take on the day.

How it works: Sign up to receive monthly collections of three niche fragrances in sample sizes. You can choose month-to-month ($18), 3-monthm ($51), 6-month ($96), or a full year memberships ($180). Although the scents were wonderful, each month comes with a similar theme, so if you don't like floral you were out of luck in September. Plus, I'm still prone to wearing my signature scent rather than dabble in new ones.
Stand-out moment: Every month you get $18 credit toward a full bottle of your favorite scent. So amazing.

How it works: Choose up to 6 samples from a variety of products from designer brands like Agave and Vera Wang for $12 a month. Despite the sheer number of samples they advertise on the site, they reminded me of the ones I tend to choose after a shopping-spree at Sephora; I don't really need them, but they're free.
Stand-out moment: I still use the bright orange container my samples came in as a stand-out jewelry box.

How it works: For a mere $19.95 a month, you'll receive up to two 30-day supplies of the newest beauty innovations in skin care, hair care, and color cosmetics all the way from Europe. While it was refreshing to get full-size products, I was a little terrified of actually using them since I didn't really know where they came from and how they would react with my skin.
Stand-out moment: Lip color sticks no. 335, no. 336, and no. 337 were all bright and glossy additions to my liptstick collection.

How it works: Not just for men, this was by far the most useful delivery I have ever received. A few bucks a month ($1-$9 depending on how many blades you want) gets you a monthly supply of razors straight to your door and a compatible handle. You'll never reuse a rusty blade again!
Stand-out moment: Their easy shave butter and fresh razors left my legs feeling seriously silky smooth.

How it works: For $19 a month, you'll get 3 pieces of designer jewelry at a time (average price of each is $75) handpicked for you by your Rocksbox stylist. Despite feeling out a survey about the kind and style of jewelry I prefered, I only liked and wore one out of three peices in the box.
Stand-out product: You can keep the peices on loan for however you want or swap out as often as you'd like! It's like the Netflix of jewelry.

How it works: Goodebox is $18 per month and easily your best option if you want the most variety for your buck. Goodies included an all-natural cream blush for lips and cheeks, Square Hue nail polish, Jacobson Salt Co. in a cute slide tin, Steven Smith teas, and even a small kit introducing me to the Barre method. This was the first delivery where I loved every product.
Stand-out moment: Every Goodebox is guaranteed to contain some type of skin product, a color item (make-up), as well as hair care, fragrance, sun care, personal care, hygiene products, accessories, and supplements. Like I said, variety.
