San Francisco-based model Devin Clark (Look Model Agency) wants to be on top—of the catwalk game, that is. Clark is competing for the shot of a lifetime on the new season of America's Next Top Model, which premiered last week. We caught up with the local hottie to get his inside take on this season, his fave SF food, and more.
7x7: Where did you grow up?
DC: I grew up bi-coastal: My mom lived in San Francisco, in the Bayview district, and my dad lived out east.
7x7: Who are your role models?
DC: My modeling role model is Tyra Banks, for the simple reason that she's more than just a model, she's a CEO over her brand and everything she puts her hands on.
7x7: Why made you audition for America’s Next Top Model?
DC: I didn't necessarily audition—I was found by Tyra Banks herself. She found me on Instagram!
7x7: What can we expect from the season?
DC: I can't give away any spoilers, but what I can say is that Cycle 22 is the fiercest cycle ever.
7x7: What has been your favorite experience on set?
DC: Hanging out with the other models was so much fun, and we are all like a family now.
DC: I'm hoping to make it to the big screen!
7x7: What's your absolute favorite thing to eat in SF?
DC: Crab legs on the pier!
7x7: What's your favorite spot in the city?
DC: Union Square—it's where I started modeling.
