Want your wedding to feel more like summer camp than a formal affair? Take a leaf from Ben and Lauren, whose DIY wedding in scenic Holman Ranch set the stage for a lifetime of adventures together.
The couple's mutual love of travel and adventure inspired both the wedding invitations and decor, from the groomsmen's cuff links (tiny maps cut outs) to the seating chart (a map of the world). Guests enjoyed lively yard games and coloring books, all of which Lauren and Ben made themsleves. A watercolor palette of blush, peach, coral, and sea spray blue set the color scheme and rustic, vintage touches tied everything together.
Libations were served in festive mason jars, where signature cocktails were used to represent the couple's hometowns (San Francisco Pisco Punches and Wisconsin Old Fashioneds). The whimiscal weekend came to a close as the newlyweds and their guests danced to the final song of the evening, Journey's When the Lights Go Down.
