What: After years in Los Angeles, Culture Collide comes to San Francisco for the first time ever. Expect music, food, comedy, panels, happy hours, and industry experts in tow.

Día de los Muertos Celebration
What: While it's still a little too early to start celebrating Halloween and the Day of the Dead, SOMArts sets the mood with their 15th annual Día de los Muertos exhibit. This year's theme explores Hispanic cultural displacement in the Bay Area through elaborate, traditional altars as well as multi-dimensional art installations, and skulls galore.
Why: The openings night festivities will include a Día de los Muertos-inspired artist market sure to spark your creative juices just in time for Halloween.
When: Opening night is Friday, October 10: 6pm — 9pm, $12–15 at the door. Exhibit runs: Saturday, October 11—Saturday, November 8.

EVERYBODY ON THE DANCE FLOOR
What: A dance marathon to support the homeless youth services of At The Crossroads. Legendary DJ Grandmaster Flash headlines, while a bevy of the Bay Area's best DJs spin throughout the day. Plus, outdoor food truck garden, yoga, massages, dance lessons, and contests.
Why: Dancing is good for your health and good for the community.
