Bad Dads V Opening Night: An Art Show Tribute to the Films of Wes Anderson
What: Spoke Art hosts their fifth annual group art show and Halloween costume party, with orginal work from over 80 artists. Tributes to Wes Anderson's films range from paintings to sculptures to limited edition screen prints to installation based works, bringing films such as Moonrise Kingdom, The Grand Budapest Hotel, and The Royal Tenenbaums to life through different mediums.

What: This classic black and white silent horror film is recreated, with all its original glory intact, and a live, improvised organ accompaniment to add extra dramatic tension. Originally adapted from Robert Louis Stevenson’s eerie tale, and starring John Barrymore in the legendary lead roles, the film evokes old school horror with modern quality.
Why: Nothing goes better with silent films than a live organ score!

CLIFT’s Annual Halloween party
What: The Redwood Room comes to life—and a travelling circus adds to the fright factor—turning the classy venue into a CarnEvil. San Francisco-based house DJs and artists Miguel Migs and Chris Clouse turn up the volume for a night full of dancing complete with a cash bar. Costumes are highly encouraged.
Why: There's music, costumes, and booze, not to mention spooky circus freaks. What more could you ask for?

What: For the first time local Italian eateries Quince and Cotogna will be enlisting the help of the public for its second annual staff pumpkin carving contest! All carved pumpkins will line the sidewalk in front of Cotogna, it's your job to vote for your favorite artistic gourd and the winner will be announced the next day.
Why: Get inspiration for next year's decorative gourd season.
