Beat the cold by keeping busy this weekend
COMMEMORATE
Closing Night of the Ferry Building's Lit Up "1915"
What: This Friday is the final night of the Ferry Building's vintage light show—you may have noticed the iconic building looking super pretty and old-timey this week to honor the centennial of the Panama-Pacific International Exposition. On December 4th, however, the Ferry Building's lights will go down at the exact same day and time as when the fair closed a century ago. A musical tribute to Lincoln Beachey, CC Moore, and Sunny Jim Rolph will take place and the first 500 attendees will receive a number of wonderful souvenirs. Vintage attire is encouraged, so it's time to dust off that feathered hat.
When: Friday, December 4th, 4:15-5:15pm
Where: The Ferry Building (The Embarcadero and Ferry Plaza, San Francisco)

Paper & Packaging + Macy's Presents #SharePackage
What: To lift the spirits of kids who have to spend their holidays in the UC Davis Children's Hospital, Paper and Packaging Board is joining forces with Macy's to bring some holiday joy and gifts right to their door. #ShareBox is a project where pre-paid and pre-labeled empty boxes are available to be picked up and filled with toys, treats, and more. Each box will be sent directly to the hospital, where each child will be able to eagerly unbox their present. Boxes are available at Macy's Santaland in Union Square. 'Tis the season to spread some joy.
