A Casual Hike To A Secluded Beach

The Tennessee Valley Trail is a leisurely and scenic 3.4-mile roundtrip hike that turns around at Tennessee Valley Cove. This is probably the easiest to access (and most popular) hike north of the Golden Gate Bridge. It’s a perfect option for those without a lot of time, or for those with family in town. Learn more.

This 5.5-mile, dog-friendly trail is a great workout and features beautiful coastal views of Rodeo Cove and Rodeo Lagoon. With a climb of 950ft, your legs will definitely still be feeling it when you sit down to dinner later that evening. Learn more.

Trail Run in Golden Gate Park

Named after the once abundant strawberry fields that inhabited the island and located in the middle of Stowe Lake, Golden Gate Park's Strawberry Hill reaches up to 430 feet. A Killer Cardio Trail Run at Sweeney Ridge

Sweeney Ridge is a challenging 5.7-mile out-and-back trek that features 600ft of elevation gain—most of which comes in the first 1.5 miles of the trail. Your legs and lungs may hurt a bit, but if there’s no fog, it will be worth the reward. On a clear day, you’ll be greeted with sweeping views of the Pacific, Montara Mountain, and Pacifica. Hike The East Bay’s Tallest Peak

For those looking to REALLY earn a huge meal, this half-day hike is for you! This 6.8-mile ascent (13-miles roundtrip) up Mount Diablo’s 3,849 ft peak will provide you with the second most expansive view in the world after Mt Kilimanjaro.
