A Dream Week for Star Wars Fans

1. Star Wars: In Concert!

This multi-media event features music from all six of John Williams' epic Star Wars scores. Part of a world-wide tour, the concert comes to the HP Pavilion on October 11.

Narrated live by Anthony Daniels (the actor who portrayed C-3PO in all six films), the production features a full symphony orchestra and choir, accompanied by specially edited footage from the films displayed on a three-story-tall, high-definition LED super-screen - one of the largest ever put on tour. Concert goers who haven't already passed out from excitement can also see the exclusive exhibit of Star Wars paraphernalia --many of these pieces are leaving Skywalker Ranch for the first time

2. Princess Leila Tell-All

Carrie Fisher’s one woman tell-all, “Wishful Drinking”, which played Berkeley Rep last year and became New York Times bestselling memoir, just opened on Broadway to raves. In the show, Fisher dishes about her role as Princess Leia, a role she created when she was in her early 20s.

3. Get Closer Still!

Fans can cozy up to costumed Star Wars characters for snap shots as three Bay Area book stores celebrate the highly-anticipated (for some, I guess) nationwide release of Lego Star Wars: TheVisual Dictionary. On Oct 10 at Lola of North Beach and Books, Inc. on Chestnut street.
