When it comes to kicking back with a beer, the atmosphere is typically less ritzy lounge, more rec room. But San Francisco's Anchor Distilling Company wanted to create a high-design destination where its best clients could sample the product in style. So they teamed up with designer Melanie Coddington to build out a penthouse suite atop the the iconic distillery and deck it out with bright custom furnishings, graphic rugs and a swank bar. The finished product is a dramatic change from what is once was: a dreary conference room filled with white boards and rolling chairs. Drink up!
