Emily and Sam met in a Global Studies class at CSU Monterey, but it was not a shared love of international relations that brought the pair together. Sam struck up a conversation with Emily after he noticed that she was the only other student doodling in her notebook on the first day of class.
The couple's wedding style reflected a taste for the whimsical in a rustic outdoor setting. The pair said "I do" amidst rolling vineyards and sprawling hills at the beautiful Trentadue Winery in Geyserville. Emily's lacy, backless dress was offset by a groom's party adorned in plaid. Following the ceremony in the foothills of Napa Valley, the reception took place in a casual, indoor/outdoor space highlighted by wood finishes and sparkling string lights. The couple capped their big night by cutting a Rice Krispie cake before sharing their first dance as husband and wife.
