A Session Beer In Session

By

A session beer is one defined by a lower alcohol by volume that is highly quaffable or drinkable. The name comes from the fact that you can drink more than one in a session. With the popularity and immense diversity of craft beers out there, a return to session beers is en vogue.

One classic example of a session beer is California's own Firestone DBA.  This English Pale Ale is the freshest version of the style that you'll find in the U.S. DBA is one of only a handful of beers that actually spends primary fermentation in oak barrels. Constructed of imported malt and noble hops, DBA exudes a perfect balance with subtle hints of caramel and vanilla; they're characteristics that can be directly attributed to the influence of oak.

Look for DBA on tap, in 22 oz bottles, 6 packs and even 12 packs at your favorite grocery or liquor store!
