Ballerinas in the Mist: SF Ballet at Stern Grove

By

This post is for the subset of the San Francisco population inhabiting the Venn diagram interception between People Who Enjoy Classical Dance and People Fond of the Free. With the related but not strictly necessary parallel with People Fond of Drinking Booze at the Ballet.

San Francisco Ballet takes the stage at Stern Grove on Sunday to perform Mark Morris’s Sandpaper Ballet and two pas de deux from After the Rain and Don Quixote. For pointe shoes, lithe limbs, and possibly a healthy dose of fog, hit the Stern Grove Festival this weekend - and be sure to bring blankets because, hey, it’s summer in San Francisco.

August 8 at 2 p.m. Stern Grove, 19th Ave and Sloat Blvd. Free.
