Best Week Ever

Noise Pop, Noise Pop, Noise Pop. Tonight’s opening night party at Mezzanine features SF’s homegrown salacious marching band (Extra Action), last year’s SXSW it band Tapes ‘N Tapes along with perpetually boombox-sporting Har Mar Superstar and MC-DJ (yes, DJ!) David Cross. Plus: an art installation by Shepard Fairey. And that’s the first night people! A few more names to whet your musical appetite (Disclaimer: the following bands’ performances will, in some cases, overlap with each other, making your decisions that much more difficult. But as my dad would say, “Life is about choices.”): Willy Mason, Sebadoh, Lyrics Born, French Kicks, Scissors for Lefty, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, the Dandy Warhols, the Ponys, Gris Gris, Clinic, Honeycut and Spinto Band. Good night and Good luck.  noisepop.com
