Exciting news for people (like us) who may or may not have dreams of ice-rink domination: the downtown holiday rinks are starting to take shape! There's some definite construction-action going down at The Embarcadero (SF's largest rink) Union Square.  Both the Emcarcardero rink and the Safeway Rink in Union Square are slated to open this Wednesday and our fashion team is hurriedly assembling a Look of the Week that channels something along the lines of Kristi Yamaguchi, Tonya Harding and Nancy Kerrigan. We promise it will be awesome. Check back for ice updates in days to come.  And in the meantime, we suggest you prepare yourself by Netflix-ing The Cutting Edge and The Mighty Ducks immeditately.
