If you haven't already started to pack your closet with fall essentials, you're actually in luck, the best sample sale of the season just started!

Chaiken Clothing is celebrating 20 years of great design by opening their archives to local buyers for the next three weeks. Let me reiterate: this is not your average sample sale. Offerings include chic runway pieces from pants to coats to silk dresses to cashmere sweaters. (Take heed: since they're primarily runway pieces, most things are size 2 and 4.) 

Each week Chaiken will put a little more out, and share the proceeds with local non-profits—Jewish Federation, EmergeCA, Compass Family Services, and Global Green. Talk about a guilt-free indulgence.
