Earlier this month, the community of thought leaders, innovators, and trendsetters better known as Ivy joined together at the up-and-coming Design District gallery, the NWBLK to raise a glass to impactful design and to honor the winner of their Ivy Innovator Award for Design, presented by Cadillac.Guests filled their glasses with Dark Horse wine and grooved to live music.
Ivy created their Innovator Awards to spotlight the next generation of leaders in tech, film, and design. This year's winner, Mike Lin, CEO of Fenix International Inc., was recognized for his work delivering affordable, renewable energy to the 1.3 billion people who live in emerging markets without access to reliable power. In addition to three national award contests for each field, Ivy also hosted twelve Innovator Events across the country, including technology summits, film screenings, and design events.
Ivy launched in February 2013 as a collaborative community with a goal of creating a better world by bringing together fascinating individuals and fostering collaboration through experience. Created by Harvard Business School classmates Beri Meric and Philipp Triebel, the community has hosted hundreds of thought-provoking experiences including private art viewings, cocktail and dinner parties, salon discussions, film screenings, outdoor activities, theater performances, and symphony performances. ivy.com
