Brazilian Steakhouse, Fogo de Chão, Opens in SoMa

Vegetarians, beware: southern Brazilian steakhouse Fogo de Chão (pronounced fo-go dee shown) is opening its second Northern California location on December 23 in SoMa. As with other Brazilian steakhouses, Fogo focuses on churrasco, the art of roasting meats over an open fire, and espeto corrido, or “continuous service,” which allows guests to control the variety and pace of their dining experience. All of the meats are butchered in-house, roasted over an open fire, and then carved tableside. // 201 Third Street (SoMa), fogodechao.com
