This week we have a quick turnaround for the former Moishe's Pippic space, an expansion of Hog Island Oyster Co. at the Ferry Building, the reopening of Three Twins Ice Cream in the Lower Haight, and Frances has just added Monday nights.

First up, the Moishe's Pippic space is getting snagged by local restaurateur Jocelyn Bulow of Chez Maman fame. Bulow, who opened a branch of Chez Maman across the street in Hayes Valley in 2012, will be opening a second branch of his Potrero Hill Mexican concept Papito, dubbed Papito West. He tells the Inside Scoop this branch will be more of a restaurant experience, with a more expanded menu than the Potrero Hill location (sounding a bit like a Padrecito). A full kitchen build-out is required, but he's aiming for a spring opening. [Inside Scoop]

Three Twins Ice Cream, which was forced to close their San Francisco scoop shop following a building fire in 2011, is finally back open in the Lower Haight (Fillmore and Haight). Look for a full dozen flavors to be on offer at any given time, up from the former eight, including favorites like Lemon Cookie, and Dad's Cardamom. [Eater]

Over in the Castro, Frances is now open seven nights a week, including Mondays, so it might have just gotten slightly easier to get a table there.

Super Duper has just opened their seventh (!) location, this one in the Financial District at Mission and Spear, just in time for FiDi workers to cheat on their New Year's diet with lunchtime burgers and fries. [Eater]

And at the Ferry Building, Hog Island Oyster Co. is expanding into the adjacent space formerly home to Ferry Plaza Seafood. This is great news considering how busy and cramped the existing Hog Island space usually is, but it's bad news in the short term for oyster lovers because they'll be temporarily closed. Hog Island will close next Thursday, January 16, and reopen "later this spring" with a brand new, 125-seat space designed by Cass Calder Smith.
