The Museum of Craft and Design is turning ten, and to celebrate, they're throwing a major party to celebrate their decade of disruption in design and craft. On April 24, join the MCD for a live and silent auction featuring eye-catching work from leading artists and designers, along with curated experiences immersed in the craft and design world. Join master of ceremonies Liam Mayclem (KCBS Foodie Chap, @liammayclem #foodiechap) as the museum auctions off amazing opportunities and exclusive works. The design + craft + experience benefit auction will raise funds for their innovative exhibitions, as well as their MakeArt kids programs.
Along with the auction, the evening features interactive artisanal food installations, libations, and other inspired offerings from local creatives, brought to you by event designer Gary Vlasic of V. Project. The event's also chock-full of musical peformances by DJ Wambam Ashleyanne, The Jazz Faculty, Todd Allen, and Willard Cron. Featured artists and designers include Fletcher Benton, Wendy Maruyama, Kim Frohsin, Emiko Oye, Charlotte Kruk, Garry Knox Bennett, Budnitz Bicycles, Joe Brubaker, Babette, Gary Hutton, Tina Frey, Topher DeLaney, Olle Lundberg, Matt Gil, Anzfer Farms, Heather Wilcoxon, Ben Venom, Charles DeLisle, and many more.
