The Bay Area's very first Stella McCartney boutique opened last weekend, but not in Union Square. The cruelty-free fashion maven took over a former Kate Spade space at the Stanford Shopping Center. Introducing THE THING: THE SHOP
For those who prefer to do their shopping in the real world, THE THING Quarterly has just launched THE SHOP, featuring astounding things by some of their big name collaborators: Matt Singer, Sleepy Jones, Alexes Bowyer, Nathan Lynch, Tucker Nichols, Alicia McCarthy, Gwen Allen, Jason Jägel, Thomas Clark, Chris Johanson, Ritual Roasters, Atlier Dion, and paintings by the salty Painter Jeremy Coon. This Saturday, December 13 from 3-6pm, they're hosting a party with DJ Myles Cooper, Hot Cider, Ritual Espresso, and holiday house music, the likes of which you've never experienced before. Remodelista's Holiday Market + SF Bazaar Holiday Show

This weekend's market will bring together local designers and creators showcasing handmade goods for the home as well as locally produced clothing, accessories, botanical perfumes, and more.
