Karl the Fog may be fierce at times, but he's also fiercely photogenic.
Two things are certain of Bay Area mornings: The line at your favorite cafe will be much too long, and the fog-wind whooshing down the sidewalks will make the wait down the block almost unbearable. But, when you get back in your car and cross the bridge or crest a particularly high hill, old Karl will inevitable strike a stunning pose—especially in the summer when you want him to head for the hills.
There's just one thing to do: to celebrate our love-hate relationship with our region's most iconic forecast. Enjoy the pics.
