Corridor Café Opens in Mid-Market
The restaurant group behind Trestle and Stones Throw teamed up with Los Angeles-based specialty roaster LAMILL Coffee to open Corridor Café. Stop by to taste a slew of delicious treats, including Firebrand pastries as well as housemade sandwiches, salads, and baked goods from Executive Chef Jason Halverson. Mr. Holmes + Shinola Cola Cruffin and Donut
In what seems to be a slightly strange partnership, Mr. Holmes Bakehouse has joined forces with Detroit-based maker of fine watches, journals and bikes, Shinola, to create a special Shinola Cola Cruffin and Donut. On February 11th from 6-9pm, they're throwing a party at the shiny new Shinola store on Montgomery St. You can expect loads of Shinola Cola Cruffins on hand as well as some Fort Point Beer to help wash it all down. Flour + Water Pasta Class
Want to learn how to make pasta from scratch from a true expert? Join flour+water Chef de Cuisine Evan Allumbaugh for a special cooking class you won't soon forget. Guests will practice mixing dough, explore different pasta making techniques, and learn methods for shaping and filling stuffed pasta. Guests will also enjoy a three-course dinner prepared by f+w with wine pairings from regions discussed in the class. Gujrat India Meets the Bay Area
Rasoi is a La Cocina program participant who specializes in delicious Guajarati cuisine. Join them this Thursday as they host a six course meal that will include some classic Indian dishes presented in a unique way— think blue cheese naan that's deliciously buttery and subtly funky.
