Your guide to the tastiest foodie happenings going down this week. Bon Appetit!

Wagyu Steak Flight at Roka Akor

January is National Meat Month, and Roka Akor is going big. All month long they're offering a special Domestic Wagyu Flight (with optional wine pairings) that will leave you drooling. Then, on Saturday, January 16th, they're bringing out the big guns with a special “Big Steak, Big Wine” dinner, where diners can indulge in a prix fixe menu featuring a variety of different cuts accented luxuriously with everything from black truffle aioli to Ossetra caviar and quail egg. Now this is a foodie holiday we're happy to celebrate all month long.  // 801 Montgomery St, San Francisco; rokaakor.com/san-francisco

Good Food Awards

It's that time of the year again: Every January, The Good Food Awards (the Academy Awards of the specialty food world) celebrate the best makers in food and drink. There are two events: a black-tie optional award ceremony and gala on Friday, January 15th where guests will taste the best in charcuterie, coffee, cheeses, chocolates and other categories; or a more casual tasting in the Marketplace, where guests can sample and purchase the winners’ provisions. Either way, it's sure to be delicious. // $5-$120, January 15 and 17, Herbts Pavilion, 2 Marina Blvd, San Francisco. Get tickets here.

La Quercia Dinner at Locanda

La Quercia, Iowa-based purveyor of award-winning, handcrafted, cured meats, is teaming up with Locanda for a special one-night dinner. You’ll be able to order La Quercia’s salume plates as well as see them worked into Locanda signature dishes such as the squid ink agnolotti with salt cod and nduja or saltimbocca with Prosciutto Americano. La Quercia owners will also be onsite hand-slicing their special 12-month Tamworth Proscuitto to order. Yum. // January 18, 2016; 557 Valencia St, San Francisco. Reserve seats here.

Indian Delights and Italian Doughnut Pop-ups at Ferry Plaza Farmers Market

The Ferry Building Plaza Farmers Market is welcoming two new food vendors to their lineup. On Tuesdays, you’ll be able to enjoy Rasoi, a La Cocina program participant who makes some of the best lamb curry around. Expect daal, chai, and other specialties on the menu. Starting Saturday, you'll also find Girl Friday Zeppole, who specializes in sweet and savory Italian doughnuts. Both vendors will pop-up through March. // Tuesdays and Saturdays, 1 Ferry Building, San Francisco
