Returning to The Warfield in San Francisco on Thursday, November 5th, this year’s Glide Holiday Jam: Turn It Up and Turn It Out will be headlined by three-time Grammy Award winner, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, and recipient of numerous lifetime achievement honors, Patti LaBelle.

The Glide Holiday Jam will also feature powerhouse vocalist Destani Wolf, traditional Veracruz-Mexico music group Son de Fandango, and the legendary Glide Ensemble and The Change Band, led by Zoe Ellis. Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi will be honored as the recipient of the second annual Lizzie Glide Spirit Award, in recognition of her lifelong dedication to human rights, LGBTQ rights, and access to affordable healthcare.

It’s a beloved Bay Area tradition where legendary artists meet everyday heroes and the community comes together to support life-changing programs that include providing meals, housing, recovery, health access, and services for women and families.

The Lizzie Glide Spirit Award is named for the Glide Church’s founder, who established it in 1929 as a place of social justice, education, and spiritual care for women, children, and the marginalized. Last year, the inaugural award was presented to folk icon and activist Joan Baez. Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi will be the second individual to be recognized by the prestigious honor.
