House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi joined the Fifth Annual Y For Youth Luncheon on Friday, March 18 at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts as a featured speaker.
The annual fundraiser included inspiring speeches by Youth Chance High School senior Rajghana Spikes, YMCA Reach & Rise Mentoring alum Maverick Bishop, YMCA of San Francisco president Chuck Collins and more. World champion Golden State Warrior Festus Ezeli was honored with the Outstanding Community Leader award for his ongoing commitment of time and support to the Bayview Hunters Point YMCA.
Over the past five years, more than $2 million has been raised at the annual luncheon that brings together hundreds of Bay Area corporate, community and philanthropic leaders to support the YMCA of San Francisco’s programs serving more than 10,000 youth each day.
