The Mission's Industrial Craft is a beautifully curated new store, and everything in it—decor, furniture, apothecary, accessories and gifts—is worthy of a magazine spread.

Plus, the Marina welcomes Joybird, a furniture showroom that's all about letting you customize in all the colors under the sun; and now's your chance to find out how to become a successful influencer with a panel on the subject hosted by Fashion Incubator SF.

There's been lots of construction going on in the Inner Mission of late. Several new apartment buildings and new places to imbibe (looking at you Liliana) have cropped up, as has our most recent discovery: Industrial Craft. Located on a charming part of Florida Street between 18th and 19th streets, the small brick-and-mortar is a design aesthete's dream. Sharply curated, it's home to a variety of stuff you're gonna want (need is a question for another day).

With a focus on "objects with meaning," its shelves are filled with a blend of new and iconic pieces from emerging and established brands across myriad categories including housewares, apothecary, furniture, accessories, decorative objects, and select vintage pieces. Great place for gifts, too. Clearly, founder/curator Max Burton loves what he does and has a designer's eye to match the pristine wares.

If picking the just-right fabric and the pitch-perfect color of a new couch or comfy armchair for binge watching is your thing, get yourself to the recently opened Joybird showroom on Chestnut Street. The Southern California furniture maker (owned by La-Z-Boy) is known for its plethora of modern and retro designs and a mind-boggling selection of colors and fabrications. We jest not: With 200 silhouettes and 75 fabric options, there are 15,000 ways to customize.

The new store, situated on the corner of Fillmore and Chestnut streets, features more than 3,000 glorious square feet where customers are invited to touch, feel, and sit-test the assortment.
