In the southern end of Noe Valley the terrain transitions to the bluffs of Diamond Heights in a steep, rugged fashion. The home of great views of the city, a sweet rope swing, and some short but challenging running trails, Billy Goat Hill is a great place to explore on any afternoon.
If dangling from a rope isn't your thing, then come check out the mix of urban forest and grasslands, the nearby Walter Haas playground and the network of steep switchbacks with (of course) one of the best views spanning from downtown in the northeast to Bernal Heights in the southeast.
