Complementing the dramatic lights and over-the-top décor, that includes a 30-foot tree and over-sized holiday characters, snow will fall daily inside the hotel's 17-story atrium lobby illuminated by 300,000 lights. Wowza. Snow times: Weekends, 10:30am, 12:30pm, 4:30pm, and 6:30pm; Weekdays at 4:30pm and 6:30pm. November 22 - December 30; 5 Embarcadero Center
First Tuesdays Free Admission Day
Don't forget to stop and smell the roses this holiday season, or in this case, admire the art. Pretty much every museum in the Bay Area (the de Young, JCCSF, etc.) is offering free admission to their permanent exhibits Tuesday, December 2. Take this opportunity to check out the Keith Haring exhibit at the deYoung and grab a Bue Bottle from the cafe.
