Bringing you the latest in retail therapy around the Bay Area.

Noe Valley just got cooler and more colorful, thanks to the arrival of Rare Device, which opened the doors to its second location over the weekend. Visit the new space at 4071 24th Street, next to Noe Valley Bakery (which now serves Sightglass, BTW), for cards, books, artwork, home goods, and more.

In pricier news, Balenciaga has come to the Bay Area, in the form of a sleek, marble- and limestone-laden boutique inside the Westfield Valley Fair shopping center in Santa Clara. The 1,680-square-foot store joins other high-fashion brands like Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Prada, and Burberry, also catering to Silicon Valley's monied crowd. Word is that Saint Laurent will be following suit soon.

Need something more affordable in your life? Hit up this weekend's Renegade Craft Fair at Fort Mason Center Festival Pavilion. The free event, filled with hundreds of vendors, is in its seventh year, and keeps on getting better. Stationery, jewelry, housewares, ceramics, you name it—it's all yours for the taking, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., July 19 and 20.

Looking to make money instead of spend it? Crossroads Trading Companyhas launched a new Sell By Mail program, inviting shoppers to send in the goods they don't want, instead of waiting in those painfully long queues. The best part: The bags include pre-paid shipping labels, so it's all completely free.
