This week's list of happenings includes endless wine, LED-lit flash mobs, jaw-dropping art and more.

Monday, December 4th: Hear Budd MacKenzie Speak on Everyday Humanitarianism @ Commonwealth Club

When: 6:00pm to 7:15pm

Where: 110 The Embarcadero (Embarcadero), commonwealthclub.org

Why: Start off your workweek with an empowering, enlightening, open-hearted fireside chat with Budd MacKenzie, as he discusses his work with women, children and the needy in war-torn Afghanistan. He will also limelight about what we can do to effectively help those who we may not know—but are an ocean's-length away. Tickets ($20) can be bought on Eventbrite; if you're a student or a member of the Commonwealth Club, the talk is free to attend.

Tuesday, December 5th: Ungulate Like a Jellyfish @ Union Square

When: 7:30pm to 9:30pm

Where: Union Square, airbnb.com

Why: Come this Tuesday evening at Union Square, join a gaggle of other biophilic creatives and create an LED flash mob in an ode to everyone's favorite saline invertebrate—the jellyfish. Tickets ($65) can be bought on Airbnb, and each attendee will be given their own illuminated jellyfish puppet to both use at the event and later keep.

Wednesday, December 6th: See 'Prussian Blue' During Its Opening Week @ YBCA

When: 11:00am to 6:00pm (Gallery Hours)

Where: 701 Mission St. (SoMa), ybca.org

Why: Assembled by the celebrated oil painter, Yishai Jusidman, Prussian Blue is a series of paintings using just one color—Prussian blue, one of the earliest pigments artificially developed and used by European painters—to visualize sites of the Holocaust. Tickets ($10) can be bought online at ybca.org or at the door.

Thursday, December 7th: See Golden Gate Park Light-up for the Holidays @ Conservatory of Flowers

When: 6:00pm to TBD

Where: 100 John F Kennedy Dr. (Golden Gate Park), sfrecpark.org

Why: Swing by Golden Gate Park this Thursday night to see the Conservatory of Flowers become a canvass of sorts, danced by an LED light show to help celebrate the start of December. Admission is free, but space will undoubtedly be tight and precious to come by.

Friday, December 8th: Talk, Walk, and Drink Wine @ Fillmore Street

When: 4:00pm to 8:00pm

Where: 2001 Fillmore St. (Pacific Heights), eventbrite.com

When: 7:30pm to TBD

Where: 755 Frederick St. (Inner Sunset), circuscenter.org

Why: Featuring Circus Center's faculty, advanced adult recreational students, and pre-professional youth program trainees, this family-friendly show will immerse you in the sights and sounds of high-flying aerialists and impossible acrobatics. Revisit San Francisco's righteous, fun-loving, summer-of-love past. Tickets ($25) can be bought on ovationtix.com.
