After meeting in High School, Joe and Jaclyn kept in touch and eventually started dating during college. They both envisioned an elegant yet soft, romantic wedding. One of Jaclyn's bridesmaids stumbled upon a dress made with this lovely brocade champagne & gold fabric, which she instantly fell in love with because it was multidimensional without being too dramatic. The wedding itself was a spiritual affar. Joe and Jaclyn met with the Whited Robed Monks of St. Benedict, who embrace spirituality rather than institutional religion, and were taken by their compassion, understanding. They also found a way to tie their mothers into the ceremony, with each pouring a glass of wine into a chalice for the bride and groom to drink from in what was their first act together as married people.
