A Stylish Marriage in a Stately Mansion

Software engineers Jenny and Drew chose the stately James Leary Flood mansion for their intimate nuptials. The home has a romantic history––Flood, a mining heir, built the sturdy and palatial estate to quell his wife's fears after their former dwelling was destroyed in the 1906 Earthquake.

The couple, their party, and the house were all decked out in classy yet subtle style for the affair. Jenny wore an exquisite, mermaid-style strapless gown, her groom and his groomsmen embraced sharp bowties and velvet accents, and pastel flower arrangements graced the granite jardinières.

With hilltop views of the Bay as well as Southward-sloping panoramas of the city, the mansion provided the ideal gravitas for the urban newlyweds.
