It was a rainy December day when mom, step-dad, fiance, and the bride-to-be went to Clos La Chance Winery in San Martin. Bride Melissa knew the winery well as her family lived about 5 minutes away and she had visited the winery with her father who passed away 8 years ago, which made it even more special. Even with the clouds and rain, the pruned back vines and dormant flowers, she knew they had found THE place for their dream wedding. When planning the wedding, Melissa found that most outdoor weddings, and especially winery weddings, tend to have a more rustic look, but she knew this was just not their style. Instead, she wanted their wedding to be un-stuffy but upscale.
