What are you wearing?
Gypsy05 tunic, Seraphine maternity leggings, Pour La Victoire shoes.
Name: Michelle Drewes
Hood: Land Park, Sacramento
Describe your style:
As a photographer I have to wear something comfortable and durable that I can move around in. I usually stick to jeans, a black shirt, and boots or fun sneakers. I guess I would say my style is basic with a bit of an edge.
How would you describe San Francisco style?
San Francisco is a bit all over the place. I have noticed a big change from when I first lived in the city to now. There is a mixture of polished tech guys in jeans paired with sweaters, creatives wearing flannels and boots, and bloggers who are dressed up and on trend.
If you had to live anywhere else, where would it be?
Definitely Venice or Silverlake in Los Angeles. There is always something fun to do in LA. There are beaches and hiking, but you can also go to gallery openings and fun restaurants. I'm a SoCal girl at heart!
Top 5 SF spots:
Spruce for a martini, Pizzeria Delfina in the Mission for dinner, the Academy of Sciences for a day with my son, Chrissy Field for running, and the Ferry Building for a little bit of everything delicious!
3 things you're obsessed with right now:
Finding new eclectic furniture, art, and decor pieces to redo my home. See Kai Run sneakers with fun prints for my son. Lastly, Tartine morning buns! I'm a connoisseur of amazing pastries!
What's up next for you?
I'll be having a baby in September, which means less shoots and traveling, but the opportunity to work on art and shoot personal projects with film, which is a luxury.
