Your guide to the tastiest foodie happenings going down this week. Bon appetit!

Dunkin' Donuts Comes to the Bay Area

It's finally here! Bay Area residents lined up early Wednesday morning for the grand opening of the area's first Dunkin' Donuts in Walnut Creek, which included a ribbon cutting ceremony featuring food and beverage samples and special giveaways. And this is just the beginning of a Dunkin' Donuts empire in the Bay Area; Over the next eight years, there are plans to open a dozen Dunkin' Donuts locations in Contra Costa County, with additional locations in San Ramon and Brentwood. // 1250 Newell Ave. (Walnut Creek), dunkindonuts.com

DUM Brings Indian Soul Food to 24th Street

Indian soul food truck DUM has quietly opened a permanent space on 24th Street in the former Local Mission Eatery space. Chef-owner Rupam Bhagat was born in Mumbai and received formal training at the Culinary Institute of America. He merges local seasonal ingredients with bold Indian flavors—a combination we can get behind, especially when it's in the form of of kidney bean stew with charred rabe and cumin rice or chicken biryani. // Open Tuesday – Saturday, 11 a.m.–10 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.–9 p.m., 3111 24th St. (Mission), dumsf.com

SQIRL @ Ordinaire

Oh-so-Instagrammable Silverlake hotspot SQIRL is popping up at Ordinaire Wine in Oakland on Saturday. If you haven't been to SQIRL, just know it's kinda a thing. Even Pulitzer Prize-winning food critic Jonathan Gold is a fan, and put it on his "Top 101 Best Restaurants in LA" list. They're known for their epic jams, which are heartily dolloped over a healthy slathering of ricotta on toast or their green grain bowls. These signatures will likely make an appearance on the menu, but who knows what Chef Jessica Koslow has up her sleeves? // Saturday, June 25th,6pm–sold out, 3354 Grand Ave. (Oakland), ordinairewine.com

Hakkasan's Special Cocktail Dim Sum Tasting

Hakkasan has restaurants all over the world in addition to their SF location, and this summer they're celebrating their latest openings—London, Mykonos, and Marrakech— with a cocktail and dim sum flight. That's three 50ml cocktails paired with three pieces of dim sum: the venison puff, duck roll, and sesame prawn toast. It seems like an intriguing booze:food ratio, but there's only one way to find out. // $30, June 27–August 31, 1 Kearny St. (FiDi), hakkasan.com
