Last week’s benefit at Cantina for bartender Brooke Arthur of Range was a big success. The bar was packed, as so many people turned out to donate and raise a glass in support of her and her recovery.
There’s good news. According to her website, updated by Brooke’s sister Tonya, Brooke, who suffers from serious smoke inhalation, has been doing breathing exercises this week and can now breathe on her own (without a ventilator) for six hours. The family is no longer taking online donations, but if you wish to get in touch, email Tonya.
