To combat it, we read Marie Kondo, clean out our closets, make shame-filled trips to Crossroads, and drop bags off at Goodwill (or lord help us, the street.) We want our lives to be better! Cleaner! Why does this have to suck? Starting this weekend, and for the next two weeks...it doesn’t.
It’s time to Unclutter, San Francisco. Behold! For two glorious weeks, Twice, a secondhand ecommerce retailer, has set up a de-cluttering sanctuary in the heart of the Castro. It’s simple: bring in your CLUTTER, get paid. Beyond clothes, Twice’ll be collecting home goods, sporting equipment, electronics — even musical instruments. After Twice sees your stuff, you’ve got twenty-four hours to decide if you want to accept their offer via check, PayPal or Venmo, get your belongings back, or donate them to charity.
Too lazy to stroll over because you’re watching Netflix? That’s ok! Because they’re making this AS EASY AS POSSIBLE. Postmates will be at your service with a free pickup. And if you DO stop in, you’ll be greeted by a beautiful gallery from Mountary and relaxing lounge from Move Loot, where you can eat and drink from some of San Francisco’s favorite folks, including a pour-over class from Reveille Coffee, and bask in the glory of being a clutter-free human.
