Parents say that "every day is children's day" when their kids ask why there's a Mother's day and Father's day but no Children's day.

So I say about SF cocktail week, which nevertheless was celebrated last week. I was out of town for most of the festivities, which was a bummer, but managed to catch H, owner and chief mixologist of Elixir in the Mission, shaking drinks for a reception at Bourbon & Branch’s Library Bar for New Orleans' great event Tales of the Cocktail.

But it's true, I like to think that every week in SF is cocktail week. Actually, for that matter, every day is cocktail day. Don't let your local bartender down.
