For those of you bummed you can't take your best friend in the whole wide world (your faithful pup!) to Outside Lands, fear not–there's still a way for you and your furry comrade to tap into some fun this weekend. Head to SoMA for this summer's second Yapsie Pupcrawl, in which you and a group of like-minded doggie enthusiasts go on a kind of pubcrawl beyond just bars (oh, but there will be bars!) to explore the 'hood on a micro level, be outside and connect face to face, mano a mano, with other pet owners.
On August 13, attendees will meet in the afternoon near the Giants Stadium to cruise through the area's dog-friendly cafes, bars, restaurants, boutiques, parks and more. This includes a stop at the delicious Little Skillet, The Creamery, then a training lesson in South Park. Drinks and appetizers await you at Public House, then you'll be off for a shopping trip at Furry Tales. More adventures are still to-be-announced, so expect a full afternoon of exploration! They're calling it a "parade", so get ready to look good on your journey through the neighborhood. Grab tickets for a day in the great outdoors of SF here.
